November 26, 27, 28 - Tony and Bob came back down again for a morning hunt and then fishing out of the Marina Puesta del Sol in the north. The first day we went rooster fishing but came up empty. We did catch a lot of jacks and sierra mackerel inshore. The next day we headed offshore and a caught a bunch of dorado, even one on the fly rod. We spotted two sailfish free jumping but couldn't manage to raise one into our spread of swimming ballyhoo. The water color wasn't too pretty, which might have had something to do with it. Day three was super windy. Very unusual for that far north. We were forced to stay inshore along the beach and came up empty handed with the rooster fish. Had a great time once again with my canadian friends.
