Nicaragua Fishing Report - Super Fly Sport Fishing

December 7, 2007 - The Super Fly took 3rd place last weekend in the VI International Flor de Cana Fishing Tournament. The tournament was held out of the Marina Puesta del Sol on Nicaragua's northern Pacific coast. 31 boats participated ranging from a 23 ft center console (the Super Fly) to a 68 ft Viking. The majority of the visitors came from El Salvador, but we also had boats arrive from Costa Rica and one boat from Guatemala. We had unusually windy conditions there which may have been the reason for the slow fishing, but it worked out for team Super Fly.
